Serendipity by the slopes is a stylish 5 bedroom, 8 bed mountain top cabin. This spacious ski in/ski out cabin is less than 100 yards from WISP chair rail 4! There is complimentary EV charging for your car. In summer walk next door to ASCI adventure center with whitewater rafting and for the best summer sunsets. The lake is less than a 5 min drive. In fall enjoy the beauty of the majestic trees and in spring enjoy the quiet serenity and peaceful views from the large windows or while relaxing in the hot tub on the patio.

Swallow Falls State Park

This mountain park is located nine miles north of Oakland, Maryland and contains some of Maryland’s most breathtaking scenery. The Youghiogheny River flows along the park’s borders, passing through shaded rocky gorges and creating rippling rapids. The 1 1/4 mile trail through S​wallow Falls guides hikers to some of the most breath-taking scenery in Western Maryland. Deep Creek Lavender Farm

Gorgeous lavender farm right outside of town at 625 Doerr Rd Accident, MD. Open from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays and Saturdays in September, the farm currently has nearly 1500 lavender plants with 12 different varieties of English and French lavender in shades of purple and white. Stop by and visit the farm and bring a picnic or stop by one of the local restaurants for a to-go meal to enjoy on the farm. Enjoy a lavender lemonade while resting in rockers on the front porch. There is NO entry fee to visit the farm.
